Cornbread

Sweet, bright yellow, fluffy!

Ingredients
  

Dry
  • cups flour
  • 2 cups cornmeal
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
Wet
  • 2 cups milk
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil

Method
 

  1. mix dry ingredients
  2. whisk eggs separately
  3. add milk and oil to eggs, mix well
  4. add dry ingredients to wet mix, 1/3 at a time, mix only until incorporate
  5. spread into buttered/greased two 9-inch round or square pans or ~24 muffin tins
  6. bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes (less for muffins or more for pans)
