Cornbread
Sweet, bright yellow, fluffy!
Ingredients
Dry
- 3½ cups flour
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1½ tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
Wet
- 2 cups milk
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
Instructions
- mix dry ingredients
- whisk eggs separately
- add milk and oil to eggs, mix well
- add dry ingredients to wet mix, 1/3 at a time, mix only until incorporate
- spread into buttered/greased two 9-inch round or square pans or ~24 muffin tins
- bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes (less for muffins or more for pans)
