Meet my favorite animal – the Caracal.

Special Skill: Caracals are high jumping cats. These agile cats have amazing jumping abilities, leaping up to 10 feet (3 meters) to swat a flying bird. They can even leap on a sitting ostrich!

Caracals are usually 36 in long (91 cm). This cat seems to be medium sized.  They can run 34 mph (55 kph). The Caracal weight is 42 lb (19 kg) that might be one reason the caracal can jump so high! In the wild the caracal lives in Africa. Caracals have three babies at a time. Caracals eat meat four things caracals eat are  rabbits, birds, snakes, and lizards. Caracals hunt at night. Caracals can live 17 years. Caracals can knock down 10-12 birds at one time! Caracals are powerful cats!
